Air circulation inside the compostor can be adjusted to a lower level in cold seasons and to a higher level in warm seasons. An effective heat insulation (70 mm) between durable plastic surfaces enhances effective use of the heat generated in the breakdown process in the compostor. The compostor works efficiently also with a smaller amount of waste, because the air space inside the compostor can be adjusted by means of an intermediate cover. The insulation is directly adjacent to the compost mass. We recommend the use of the intermediate cover, especially in winter conditions and when starting composting with a small amount of waste. EASY TO USE The compostor can be emptied in smaller quantities below the hatch or in larger quantities by opening the hatch completely. The cover is protected by a wind latch, which ensures that it does not fall on the user´s hands even in strong wind. A possible excess liquid can be discharged, e.g. to a flower bed, through a hose. The compostor can be fixed to the ground or mounted on wheels.
